0-0 terrific point on the road.

Re: Gillingham away thread
Not the best of games but Gillingham fighting to pick up some points so if you cant win don't lose. Overall not a bad result.

Re: Gillingham away thread
A point is a point especially when it moves you one place up the table.

Re: Gillingham away thread
Hard-fought point, Toby and Ross excellent at the back, Seamus also stood out with some fine interceptions. We missed Matty Butcher's ability to bring the ball through midfield and to link up with Colby and Ethan, who both put in good shifts but Colby in particular was isolated. We created hardly anything worthy of note up front, which was frustrating as one moment of quality would have won the game. That said, Gillingham were well-organised and didn't give us anything like the space we had at Charlton. My Gills-supporting mate texted me afterwards that he thought we had got away with a point, and given the chances they missed that's probably a fair comment.

Re: Gillingham away thread
Looking at the “highlights” it certainly looked like a point won, not two lost.
It was like the Alamo at times in Stanley’s box. Whole team, especially defence, deserve applause. |
