Sheffield Wednesday attendance.

Sheffield Wednesday have sold out their allocation of 2600 tickets wonder if we can get above 5000 for this game?

What would a capacity crowd be now at the Wham?

do not tell em that. they are bound to be a few thinking about it. no tickets on sale on the day of the game is something the club should be looking to do.

Talking of attendance, most fans I know were open-mouthed when the figure of only 3130 for the Argyle game was announced.
The ground looked close to full so assuming capacity is 5450, where exactly would another 2320 fans be accommodated?
Perhaps on the roof of the new stand?????

705 Plymouth fans in an area of approximately 1570 standing and seats of approximately 550 that's 1300 + there plus not a full bmain stand and I have seen the Clayton end rammed not Saturday corners were sparse etc etc.

Blimey Andy! No need to rub it in.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday attendance.

2425 home fans against Plymouth probably swelled by the international break and no Burnley or Rovers game, Burnley at home Saturday historically they come on Stanley more than Rovers fans do, so we will do well to match especially at £25 a ticket the same home sales has Plymouth will gladly hold my hands up if proved wrong.

Lord S, the top half of The Coppice terrace was taped off at the mid way barriers. The rest of the ground was fairly well spread with a good number of fans but still with plenty of spaces. I would say that the official attendance was probably about right.

They could do with some toilet,s in the main stand holds about 1220 if full or close to Saturday the nearest toilet,s in the Clayton end is nothing short of abysmal, and probably bending a few EFL rules on stadia.

Perhaps you could persuade Prostasan to sponsor the main stand? ;)

Think sheffield wednesday are a far bigger attraction than plymouth are because we have played them many times before. They are still a name in football that might attract a few that do not attend regularly or have decided to stop going.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday attendance.

Sheffield Wednesday are currently in a injury crisis a bit like ours possibly worse only named 4 subs, I think last night in the cup replay at Plymouth hammered 3-0 but only had 3 defeats in the league and are unbeaten since early October bit of a draw specialist especially away just lately if we could get a few fit for Saturday could just be the right time to be playing them.

after the last couple of games a goaless draw would suit me just to settle things down a bit.
