Fa Cup
FA ruling on the Exeter v Bradford City cup replay which Exeter won 3-0 in extra time but Exeter found guilty of using a sixth substitute when only five allowed unless it's a concussion substitution which it wasn't and the score was 0-0 at the time verdict match to be replayed. Seems Bradford are being punished here having to travel again on a Tuesday evening such a distance game voided so surely could have made Exeter travel has the guilty party along with the official,s.

Better luck to The Bantams next time around. |
Re: Fa Cup
The officials are more to blame but only Exeter apologising. The FA should refund all ticket holders and just go to pens at the Ricoh.

Re: Fa Cup
The match is null and void, the result is null and void, but the sending off the for Bradford player stands!

Re: Fa Cup
No, it was Sam Allison.
Not sure he should be added to ‘the Kettle list’ but with constant rule changes and fiddling around with rules it can’t be easy for refs. If it’s ‘normally’ 3 subs, why are 5 subs in the Cup not enough? They’ll be allowing ‘specialist’ players on just to take corners, free-kicks, or penalties next, like in American football. |
Re: Fa Cup
It's ridiculous that Bradford have to traipse all that way again to replay this. We were once kicked out of the then JPT for fielding an ineligible player, one Ray Putterill. Surely, fielding one sub too many is the same & should have the same sanctions - put Bradford through on a bye
