Shrewsbury away thread

Very difficult game Shrewsbury unbeaten in the league at home for quite a while lineup anyone,s guess with a bit of COVID in the camp I believe Pritchard could make the bench maybe 3 points would be nice but I,d take it 1.

Will be hard to play the same XI, as it is a quick turn around and players are ill...

:) :) :)

Why I haven't done a prediction of the line up anybody,s guess hope this COVID crap starts to subside soon because it makes a mockery of fair play in the fixture pile up.

Not suggesting you had mate, just making a statement :)

Same defence would not go a miss - though if Harvey is fit, he plays for me :)

Leigh and McConville are starters also :)

:) :)

Agree, the lad has waited, patiently presumably, for his break and he deserves another game.

yes, but at times coley seems to disagree and plays his preferred side. seen it especially after a cup game when lads come in, do well and then get dropped for the next game.

Lineup:-
Savin.
Sykes. Nottingham. Clark.
O, Sullivan. Leigh. Coyle. Butcher. McConville.
Leigh. Bishop.
Subs:- Isherwood. Rodgers. Carson. Pell. Mansell. Patrick. Nolan.

Notice not one loanee in the squad tonight strange.

I know Leigh is good but playing in two positions may be expecting too much?;)

Maybe, but what ARE the positions then? I mean, who is the third back, e.g. Assuming there are three?

Watching the game live on iplayer, the first half is certainly a different tactical performance than what we witnessed in the last game against Rotherham.

good point tonight i thought.

Re: Shrewsbury away thread

Good nil nil tale of two sides who couldn't take their chances tonight, though I thought we were the better team second half defence playing well again even with a makeshift left back Clark again playing well hopefully some strikers inbound in January.

Impressed with Tommy Lee over last couple of games.
Another Coley gem unearthed.

Both Stanley and Shrewsbury charged with failing to control players behaviour in the 84th minute of the game.

just another thing that totally boils my bodily fluids about the present game. if they remove any more passion out of it we might as well start watching chess.

but what is there end game though with all this. tackling seems to get harder and harder to do without giving away a free kick. they seem to have a downer on heading so that will be the next. playeers getting cautions where a free kick might not have been given a few years back. games called off and abandoned where the majority of the players were happy to play. must be other stuff i have missed.

It’s called never being put in a position to be blamed/sued for anything ‘bad’ that might possibly happen.
It’s now endemic in most corporate organisations.
