what i said i think is obvious to anyone i reckon.!

Hang on a minute. Make your mind up. So now it's not the holding midfielder and the winger who's the problem it's the forward(s) ?
You talk about "broken record" so let me repeat my old 45rpm.
Investment in the product on the pitch just isn't good enough.
Either the budget is crap, or the scouting is crap, or a combination of both.
We've got an excellent playing surface, a nice shiny corporate facility ready to be opened and nice changing rooms being built.
Time for some money to be deflected into sorting the squad out.

the budget is what we can manage simple as,if some CAN be deflected to the squad its doubful to me if we can afford the wages of a class striker, so we will have to carry on like we are i think.

The nice shiny changing rooms hopefully open in August replace out of date falling to bits old facilities that had EFL threatened dates to replace a few times are now being replaced and any money raised by new facilities diverted maybe to playing budget will hopefully replace older getting past their sell by date players.

Let's assume every contract expires at the end of the season.
Who's on your retained list ?

Well could any off our players hack it in the championship probably not any worth money in the transfer market maybe Savin, Sykes so those two I would offer a deal and any young players showing potential Coyle, Nolan Clark those 3 yes.
