Not A Lot of Joy, Not A Lot of Changes

Well, 10 people "tipped us to lose this one" :eek:, and 8 of them are now in the Top Ten :rolleyes:. Kiwi, who is no longer of the elite :(, stuck with us :), which is why he is no longer of the elite ;), and Cashy and Tommy McQueen went missing :confused: and dropped places while retaining their seats at Top Table - hope all is well with you two?

Indeed he was :mad:

No maxis today, but Val, together with Mike A, Monkey Hanger and Ossy Kid, who all thought we'd lose 1-0, picked up 4 points :):):):), while Ange and Nige B, Lord Stiffy, Shurm, Stevie R and Taypot had to be content with 3 :):):). Nobody else got anything :(.

Resulting movements - Cashy drops from 2nd to 5th, Tommy from 6th to 7th, Kiwi from 8th to 11th. Val moves up from 11th to 9th, leapfrogging Ange. Mike's bonus takes him past Stevie into 3rd on countback, a point behind Nige who is still 3 points adrift of leader Shurm.

Down amongst us also-rans ;), Lord Stiffy climbs from 16th to 14th, and Ossy Kid from 22nd to 19th, the fastest mover of the week :D.

On a completely unrelated point, I met one of my sporting heroes today. I was Run Director for Southsea parkrun and we had a VIP visitor in the shape of Kelly Holmes. Meeting her was much more enjoyable than driving down to Plymouth would have been, to say nothing of driving back! End of brag ....

So ... roll on Gillingham. Our "serious contenders" are going to have to take a punt on which Stanley turns up I reckon :rolleyes:, not to mention which keeper :mad:. On paper, this should be our second double :eek:, but please don't quote me ....
