I repeat again the late and great Sir Bobby Robson’s seemingly obvious yet wise offering to the world of Football...
‘ Its not having the best Defence ....it’s the scoring of Goals by good strikers that win games and bring success to a Club ‘. So , will someone provide a answer to a question that consistently niggles at the back of my mind... Is there , existing somewhere in the current Stanley squad, a Striker who can score a goal ?. If one of these can be found lurking somewhere at The Crown ( Wham ?) why have we not seen him this season ?. GOALS WIN MATCHES... simple as !. |

if stanley had got beaten 4 nil by shef.wed. the other night they,d probebly got a point yesterday. its just football and stuff happens. with stanleys away form the SW result was a bigger shock.
