if lad stays injury free i think he will be a very good addition,

Re: 2022 signings

Saw all his outings (only 4 alas) on iFollow during the Covid season -I was really impressed. He was terribly unfortunate with the injury and then its almost immediate recurrence. Notwithstanding his fitness, I feel re-signing Mr Sangare could prove to be a really significant bit of business for us.

A very warm welcome back to the fold Mo, and the very best of luck!

Transfer window opens on Friday this week things will start gearing up I imagine going forward personally think we might lose a couple but it will cost so if it happens hopefully we get the right amount.

I understand that the release of Gomez-Mancini is the biggest surprise of all the youngsters let go by Burnley today. Highly-rated by u-23 watchers.

Attacking midfielder do we really need anymore midfielders unless we ship some out?

I believe at least one incoming today but if it's the one rumoured it's another midfielder.

Matt Lowe, striker from Brackley :)

:)

If Matt Lowe follows the likes of other 'non-league' signing, we will not go wrong :)
  • Matty Pearson
  • Josh Windass
  • Colby Bishop
  • Doin Charles?!?!?!?
  • Tommy Leigh

Said he was a midfielder on Brackley website not bothered though if he's playing at striker scoring double plus figures.

If you put 'Matt Lowe Brackley Town' into YouTube, there are a number of interviews and goals there.

Wonder if someone is eyeing up our Toby or whether they want to send young Isherwood out on loan to gain experience?
However, welcome to the club Lukas.

More than Trafford had before he joined us.

andyd 29-06-2022 07:01

Re: 2022 signings

And who can forget Robbie Elliott hadn't played a first team game until he joined on loan the rest is history tried and tested formula John and Jimmy use doesn't always work but give the new lad some support before jumping on his back it's the market Stanley have to work in we are back of the queue budget wise but hopefully we can finish top half again.

The point is Andy I was responding to Outback who intimates letting Isherwood go out on loan now we've got him or worse still sell Savin and he can replace him.

Wow.

Twenty Eight.........surely you've realised by now!....... not everybody thinks as much as you do before they post on this Forum.......Thats why some of the posts are so "entertaining"......I think that's the right word. No offence intended to any of our posters......I know it's just a footy Forum. I used to take it seriously ....... but that's not necessarily the case for everyone......

Wow.

Quite a valid point Twenty Eight but only the club and players involved plus their agents know if anything is in the pipeline, surely if a deal for Toby that was accepted and netted the club big bucks and more importantly the right deal for the player,John would IMHO have experienced keeper cover lined up.

Louis Hood, some great performances last season between the posts for the Under 18’s. Tall and already has a good physique. Super prospect. Good luck to the lad. Fully deserved.:theband:

Looks like Shaun Whalley’ on his way back to Stanley, with plenty of league one experience could be a good signing for the short term!

Played well against Rovers as well looks every bit a class defender good in the tackle strong doesn't get shaken off and calm with the ball and uses it well when playing out from defence shrewd signing.

Just listened to Ryan's interview. A defender that likes to keep a clean sheet. Should help us with the goals against column. Conceded far to many last season.

Well some like to chip in with goals.......and not just from corners. I was thinking defenders like Ross Sykes spent a lot of time racing forward into the final third but wasn't great with his final ball (my opinion only). I liked Ross and loved his passion and enthusiasm. It was that in his interview he stressed defending as his prime purpose. Perhaps that just reflects his coaching at Everton. In my opinion.......defenders defend and forwards attack and score goals. Maybe an old fashioned view but that's what I like to see. As you say let's wish him well........its going to be his first experience of men's football, so he'll need a lot of help this season.
