I am surprised !
Something strange about this.
Rooney stayed loyal throughout the troubled times then as soon as it's resolved - he's off.
His choice as well. Club I think thought he was staying.
Smacks to me he's sitting out his notice but already has a new job.

Rooney,s agent is being investigated about secretly paying Derby,s players wages to the tune of 1.6 million pounds to aid Kirchner,s bid to succeed. I believe Kirchner was Rooney,s favoured choice to take over and that failed.
