If you play with a lone striker and are chasing a two goal deficit (soon to be three) you obviously take off the lone striker at half-time. Never thought of that. I could never be a football manager.

what was wrong today was simple our manager played the wrong people first half simple as. the second half we salvaged a draw we did not deserve.thank god. burton had 4or 5 in the box when they attacked we were lucky if 1 was in.

Big disappointment first half but pleased the manager made changes to get something out of the game. If you cant win, don't lose so all in all after the shambolic first half its not a bad result.

It seems to be a Stanley ritual that the newest defender in the squad is immediately put in at left back, regardless of his stronger foot. Today it was Baba’s turn and, being from Portugal, he suffered his own auto da fe. He looked like a lad who’d never played with the team, or had only had a few days training! :rolleyes:
I hope he gets over today, but to blame him solely for a dreadful first half from Stanley would not be just. I didn’t even think it was that clearly a penalty.

But, what a fantastic fight back in the second half. Well done to all the squad, and to the fans for helping to pull it off.

Glad you stuck with it Kiwi......don't want to upset you too much but we could have even won it at the end Kode not able to convert a last minute cross into the box.....he guided the ball overthe bar from 3 yards out....
