3 points is a must in my opinion, next 3 games are vital, we must NOT lose any and we MUST WIN our home games............. if not, we are in serious trouble - not being doom and gloom, being factual and honest!!!

:)

In Coley we trust :)

Clean sheet a must. A line-up full of midfielders.

Is Jensen a better keeper than Savin?..I thought Toby was a bit of a fan favourite, but I do realise that doesn't make him a starter.

The problem with scoring a goal after 40 seconds is having to endure 90+ minutes waiting for the sucker punch

Pleased for the lad Sloane who came on. Massive jump from playing at Padiham to then playing in EFL League 1. Well done young man.

i thought we played ok first half, second half was scrappy.though we should have been 3-0 up at least at half time.we were quicker to the ball first half defo.

Agree, Cashy, should have been 3 up at half time.
I thought most Stanley players faded as the game progressed, exemplified by Pritchard who was jiggered by mid way through the second half. He was one of our better players today but, again, like last season, he was kept on far too long and I just hope it doesn’t result in a recurrence of his injury. When we’re lacking pace up front, I don’t know what Nolan has to do to get on the pitch.

Thought Clark deserved his MotM, but Astley also had a very good game.

Had Cheltenham not been even worse than Stanley at getting shots on target it might well have been a different outcome.

But, a win gives everyone a bit of relief and another week to repair all those injuries.

PS thought the minutes silence and the lass’s singing of the anthem was excellent.

Spot on with your assessment Cashy!
Should have been three or four up at half time.
Losing Harvey Rodgers with a knee injury was the real turning point for me. Harvey had defended their long throws particularly well but after he went off we were subjected to much more pressure in our own penalty box. Really hope that his injury problem does not side line him! Joe and I also thought that Tommy Leigh was struggling to keep going as he looked to be carrying an injury too.
Agreed with the MOM award but I also thought that Shaun Whalley ran him close.
In the second half we fell deeper and deeper into our own half and invited Cheltenham to attack us.
Our central defenders did well under increasing pressure though and Lukas Jensen was strong especially with the high balls.
The lads held out and we did deserve the three points.
I thought the Clayton End were superb once again!
Lovely touch for HRH Queen Elizabeth II with an impeccable one minute silence and a super rendition of the National Anthem.
God bless Elizabeth.

Btw, despite the yellow cards, did anyone else think this was one of the best refs we’ve had at Whambley for some time?
When I saw his name I wondered if we were in for another comic, but I thought he did OK.

Agree about the referee, he got 95% of things right, which I can accept to be honest.

:)

The ref Stephen Martin is a full timer from the Championship

Really too good to have a "low key game" in L1

Suspect PGMOL (match official people) did both club's a favour

Did the game v West Ham at London Stadium

That was our fault

We did the tribute to HRH early so we kicked off on time.

the one at Wycombe on Tuesday night wasn't the best using pre-recorded stuff which resulted in a late kick off.

We wanted to get ours better but everything went very well resulting in everybody being ready at 14:58.

Fair play to the ref for getting the game kicked off when he did rather than having everybody on the pitch stood around until 3pm

Earliest ever goal at the Crown? From a scheduled 3pm kick off?
