What a shambles....Conneely fouled in a studs up tackle and both players sent off. Both sides down to 10 men.

Re: Argyle thread

HT 1 nil to Argyle. Let's hope Stanley show more quality second half. Plenty of endeavour. Plymouth look dangerous every time they get forward. Can see why they are top.

Without a striker, it is understandable...... :(

Re: Argyle thread

Stanley really did lack the quality needed to compete against an average looking Plymouth side..
Passing was poor, crosses not carrying the first defender, Shooting , practically absent and wayward.. !...
Can't blame the Referee for this abysmal result. Must do better or the downward spiral beckons once again.
One more thought. Am I wrong to suggest that our 'Senior ' players are appearing to be showing their age, and that the green meadows of retirement are beckoning ?..
Just a thought !.

When you look at today,s results in league 1 it looks a very average division we need injured players back sooner rather than later it's obvious to most watching we are seriously missing striker,s on the pitch .

Is there any more useless job than the person who compiles the so-called ‘stats’ at footie games?
If there’s anyone out there who still doesn’t realise there’s only one stat that matters, this game ought to convince even the most die-hard stat-nerd they may as well collect train numbers.

Just seen a still of the sending off incident on a refereeing website. Although you can't tell everything from a still photo, unanimous opinion is that it should only have been the Plymouth guy who walked.

It's a difficult one to call if uncertain don't give any card just a talking too doesn't alter the fact we are powder puff in the finishing department.
