Re: Toby on loan

Something very fishy about this - thought he wasn't playing cos he needed a rest? Sounds more like a punishment being sent to that hell hole

Totally ridiculous decision.

Does make you wonder doesn't it. Whoever looks after the finances at Stanley will have one eye on next season and the playing budget. I'm only guessing but the player budget in League 2 is likely to be £600k to £700k lower than current spend. There may be more "strange" player movements before the end of the season.......I wouldn't be surprised if Toby's 7 day loan didn't become longer.

Clubs can have emergency loan keepers, so another club has to provide a recognised keeper as that loanee.
It’s for a week, which should mean just Saturday’s game at Stockport.
Anything else is speculation - oh, hang on, this is social media…

Not necessarily the clubs decision in a forced exit. Don't forget he's recently been dropped.
Can only imagine like all players he would have been disappointed at losing his place and so he might have requested a short loan deal to keep himself match fit. Just my thoughts.

Absolutely speculation Exile. That's what happens in the murkey world of professional football. I thought twice before posting, it's just the first thing I thought about when I heard of Toby's 7 day loan.........especially when you see Stevenage near the top of the League 2ctabke and ...hoping for promotion.........when does his contract end?.........Oh no sorry....more speculation.......

A thought just came to me about Toby.

Could this be another 'Dion' moment?????

We have heard talk over the last 12/18 months about 'Prawn Sandwich' teams looking at Toby and recently - Leeds game - he was lauded for his performance in a losing cause.

Then he was left out of the team - I hate to say 'dropped' as in the game today, players are rotated like mad!

I might just be talking complete rubbish :)

Andy, we all know what happened with Dion.

Most people know what happened with Harry.

Connor is on loan - as are a few other kids.
