Liverpool are complaining that it's £56000 a match fine for them. The FA announced at the beginning of the season that they were clamping down on players surrounding the ref and getting involved in mass scuffles. Every team seems to have been fined at some point but some have learnt quicker than others that there's a cost involved. Or maybe they haven't got the passion the Stanley boys have.!

Show me one example where showing off and surrounding a ref has lead to a change in a decision.

However show me several examples of where showing off and surrounding a ref has led to (shall we say) dubious decisions against.

‘They’ might learn a bit quicker if those fines came out of the pockets of those directly involved, rather than from a club’s bank account.
But it must be difficult to restrain yourself with such egregious decisions (or non-decisions) such as Posh’s second goal.

Apparently Vale have been fined too but only half the amount as Stanley - makes no sense :mad:

Good question as to where the fines money goes to; I think but need to check into grass roots football.

Every Club is allowed 1 standard penalty in a 12 month period. Problem is we've had 4 this season and 3 this year.

Once you've had 1 x standard charge (fixed fine) you are at the mercy of a 3 person panel. Be interesting what their guidance is.
