Oxford at theirs thread.

Its the last one so what the heck ...C'mon STANLEY, lets finish in style. I've a fiver on a 2 leg multi, and a Japanese team got my first leg in. We win, and thats a hundy for me, and a little sweetener to diminish the bad taste of relegation. Probably have to sleep thru this one as its work in a few hours after match end-but, will I get to sleep before k/o:confused:
Thanks for the chat over the season people. On Stanley On.:alright:

Can only hope you and the Oxford team are asleep before KO.
Enjoy your winter, KJ.

Supposed to have retired a week ago, but the boss has asked me to stay on till he sells the orchards and like a mug I've said 'Yes'.

Going down defiantly against the club that replaced us in 1962 and that we replaced in 2006.

Nice one STANLEY. Finish positive. Funny about that ongoing Oxford connection.

Bit of a mad game that Oxford should have sewn up in the first half hour, but also a Stanley performance that reminded us of the qualities that used to help the team survive against the odds: resilient, battling and with the occasional flash of quality that gave the oppo something to think about.
