Not that it really matters for a pre season friendly but can you reserve your normal season ticket seats or, are these games un reserved seating? Only asking as i was going to bring a few mates.

Don't know about any one else but with this no news transfer window can't build any enthusiasm up for the coming season might give the friendlies a swerve this year.

Have not done friendlies for a while now, just does not do anything for me anymore.

Coleman confirms that Hamilton is in talks with another club nothing sorted at present time.

In his interview John Coleman mentioned that the triallist goalkeeper is called Jack. Any ideas?

Friendly match……
Stanley 2-0 York City.
First half was somewhat ‘lack lustre’ IMHO.
York played more like a team whereas Stanley did not really develop any flowing football. The second half saw several stops for substitutions which I think disrupted York’s play more than it did Stanley.
The extra physicality of Adedoyin made a big difference as did the attacking flair of Longelo and the pace of Whalley too. Adedoyin scored a good goal. Josh Woods also added pace and pressure on the York defence and he too scored a good goal. I was again quite impressed with the performance of on loan centre back Brad Hills. He is confident, skillful, strong and has a calm demeanor. He was awarded the MOTM award.
Really looking forward to the first League match next Saturday v Newport County.
I hope the Stanley Faithful get fully behind the team and we can get off to a winning start.:jimbo:

Hamilton to Lincoln all over their fans forum now with the deal virtually sealed according to them. Hopefully will command some sort of fee as his one year option had been triggered.

Well it's looking like Hamilton is on his way and possibly both Morgan and Isherwood probably leading to a keeper in on loan and maybe another signing with any Hamilton money we make.

I don't think he's injury free either, which is probably another factor.

It's a real shame for him and the club, as he was excellent in the holding role. Read the game very well.

Shame like you say but we have more than enough holding midfielder,s and the club can move on it's not an exact science but hopefully keeping the fitter players on board.

According to the Rovers website, our under 21's drew 1-1 with theirs. No detail about our lads except to say Adekoya scored in the 39th minute.
