Shirt

Is it just me?
I think the new shirt is excellent!

Nice touch, let’s hope opponents don’t breach the defensive ‘wall’ too often.

I like it, not as generic as some previous ones

Re: Shirt

I like it, although apparently the sizing is a bit off. Some people saying they need a size or even two bigger than their normal one.

Maybe they’ve been slacking on the off-season training?

Re: Shirt

I like the wall effect :)

What I do not like is all the other stuff in the shirt..... old school without sponsors rule :)

:)

And I know we have to have them before I get told ;)

Very nice, tho I think the badge is a bit outdated for such a shirt.Still, I'm saving up for one :)

Italian company manufactured shirts are always two sizes smaller than British ones and always have been.

..could be interesting if the shorts have bricks at the rear...just saying..

Not keen on the away shirt, might look better 'in the flesh' but so far, I'm not a fan

I was thinking Argentina. Not overly keen but might improve my thoughts if we start winning in it.

Would be OK if we could wind back time and Gabriel Batistuta and Diego Maradonna was part of the deal with Macron

Re: Shirt

Whether you love or hate it, IMHO it's nice to see a change after quite a few seasons of a fairly 'off the shelf' white/black 2nd kit.
Personally, I loathed it when we started pretending we were Liverpool by switching to an all red kit.
Never mind the 2nd shirt, I say bring back our traditional white shorts.
Liverpool? - Who are they?

Could be worse…Notts Forest winning the race to wear the naffest away kit(s) thus far.

Honestly, it looks so much better 'in the flesh' than on a photo - will be wearing mine on the Corrie tour tomorrow :)

Too true Accy Mad.

stanley have always been THE REDS. so blue is RUBBISH in my eyes.

andyd 29-07-2023 08:25

Re: Shirt

In the early 1900,s Stanley's kit was red shirts blue shorts and blue socks so a bit of blue history in there Cashy mixed in with the reference,s to Accrington,s industrial history.

cashman 29-07-2023 08:36

Re: Shirt

still RUBBISH to me.

Re: Shirt

I like the way the shirts are designed to reflect aspects of the town's history.

The subtle references to Nori and Tiffany are a really nice touch and make the shirts more unique.

Inspector Morse 29-07-2023 09:38

Re: Shirt

Any idea if the blue and white shirt is referencing anything other than Argentina?
The mighty river Hyndburn perhaps?

Though I do not like 2&3, I do agree with your sentiments T.M. :)
