It was probably Ethan Hamilton’s number. Match shirts for players have probably been printed already. So his number 8 shirts could become collectors items!🥺

I agree AccyMad he was Number 4 for the last two seasons. Do you know for sure that he was given Number 4 for this coming season? Kelvin Mellor given Number 4 now so presuming the list has only been finalized after Ethan left for Lincoln. Number 4 is usually regarded as a defenders number and number eight for a midfield player.

Number 8 last season was Tommy Leigh's number........He is now 18?....... no doubt all will become clear..?...?.
