Where was everybody last night? Don't you support Accrington Stanley any more? A win last night was more important than anything we get against Moneybags Wexham on Saturday........a more hostile home crowd could have made the difference playing against Doncasrer AND the Referee....

Tbh, CG, I wouldn’t have wished watching last night’s game on anyone. Except for the first 20-30 minutes, Stanley were abysmal. I don’t think I’ve seen so many players have a stinker at the same time. Some of the passing was diabolical and Stanley were beaten by, yet another, stronger, fitter and more cohesive squad.
It was also the worst refereeing by far this season, and Mr.Tallis deserves top place amongst the pantheon of cr*p referees, but he can’t be the reason or the excuse for such a dire team performance.

A tad harsh to ask if non-attendees don't support Stankey anymore. Yes, the gate was disappointing but no doubt those who didn't go had their reasons - sorry, I don't agree that a cup win (aside from perhaps the money) is more important than points from league games - it's vital that we get what we can, when we can from every game from now till the end of the season

Think our owner will be highly disappointed with last nights result having just lost the chance of raking in £40k+

Times are hard financially for many at the moment C.G.

Second game within two weeks, which people were required to pay on the gate.

As it was a replay, many may have had commitments - work as an example.

Whilst I agree £41K is not to be sniffed at, three points in the League is far more important - in my opinion.


Let us hope that the injured lads are not out for too long and we get back on a winning run and push for safety, then promotion :)

Thanks all for your comments and opinions on the low gate number. Reading my post back it does read rather harsh. I know league points are important but I never thought we'd get anything from the Wrexham game...even though its at home. The lengthening injury list now makes that more likely. I just think FA Cup money might have allowed us to stengthen a bit in January.......helping us survive the season.

I see people don't agree. But thank you all for your different arguments and views.

Oh by the way, although i think we'll lose on Saturday...I'll be at the match cheering on our team "of younger and younger" Stanley players....would't miss it for the world.....Stanley t'll I die......😁

I was at the disappointing FA Cup Replay. However, I will have to miss the Wrecksem match on Saturday due to having another important commitment. Occasionally, this happens but it does not make me any less a total Stanley supporter!:jimbo:
