Derek Adams has up & left the Shrimps to 'pursue another opportunity' - some of their fans are making noises about wanting Coley as a replacement

Not serious noises. I think until our ownership changes we will be looking for a manager out of work rather than pay compensation that we haven't got !

What are they worried about when they’ve got Ged Brennan?

Coley is Stanley through and through and not everybody wants him back.

For me I wouldn't mind Ged Brannon as a replacement for the rest of this season whilst in the meantime taking the time to get the right body in.

BetVictor have Coleman at 5/4 favourite for the job. They obviously know nothing.

Until we are sold the club is skint !

And they've plumped for Ged Brannan - happy for him, he deserves the chance although some of their fans don't seem too impressed

Good luck to Ged Brennan. He deserved more from last season’s U23 results than the sack!

Financial decision I reckon Di.
Only got an 18 month deal and pay won't be significant.
That dispels the Coley rumours.

The Coley rumours were rubbish. We couldn't afford the compensation. Probably helped Coley and Bell in their new contract talks though !

Ged is a really good guy who wants to manage us and is keen to be an EFL Manager. That to me is much better than some of the names who were being touted that are out of work for a reason like Joey Barton , Gary Bowyer etc etc.

Who said any compensation would have been demanded ? 7 months left on contract, Owner not talking to them.
Hope it gets resolved.

Ged gets his first win as a manager today at Wycombe and prize money of £67,000.

Should stop the natives getting restless..............................for a week !

I think there's a good case for it :D

The reason for the points deduction underlines the fact that there are unscrupulous football club owners still involved in football at all levels, including league 2.
