Great news, and congrats Mr Doolan. The other FANTASTIC part of Mr Holts statement was; "I look forward to helping John in his pursuit of the right people, and to assist him over the coming years wherever possible."
. ..which means that he will not be selling which is just as important from my view

Really good listening to Andy Holt telling the reasons on John Coleman / Jimmy Bells sacking and the appointment of John Doolan. He also makes it known to Andy Bayes and Radio Lancashire of his disappointment in them putting Jimmy Bells interview out and not being allowed to comment at the time. It lasts for 1hour+ but i thought it a really good listen.

Great interview with Andy Holt.
Looks like a total change of direction, makes sense now, few teams are adopting this model, hope it works,but the second division is now saturated with experienced pros, young lads will have to hit the ground running KTF

I remain hopeful Andy Holt provides a decent playing budget for next season allowing John Doolan to bring in a few new faces (wages) and then build a team around 3 or 4 experienced players and our exciting young players coming through. I think John Doolan will do a good job for us if he can put together a settled team.Onwards and upwards.
