Scrappy first half, coulda/shoulda been 2 or 3 up before the howler by young McIntyre gifted Sutton their goal - felt sorry for Jack on his league debut but he's done well since that.
Too much hoof ball from our lads although apparently the pitch isn't exactly conducive to passing football but we need to up our game if we want to get anything out of this game (& I agree about one of the commentators, Mick Payne, my ears need the 15 minute break)

WD !.. the Reds are just awful. No midfield !.. no Strikers..Just who will eventually get on the end of one of Jack Nolan's crosses ?.
Sutton are equally as poor.. the team making the least mistakes will take the points !.
45 minutes left to prove me wrong !... again ??.

With the poor quality squad on show today ( assembled by the previous Manager !)
The question is Cashy.. " Where does John Doolan go from here ?."
These apparently under- motivated players are, having viewed the rest of League Two's weaker teams, easy pickings for all if today's abysmal excuse for a football team is going to be the norm !.
Of course I wish him well, and hope that his players can respond to his coaching. But it looks like a Spring of discontent has to be overcome if the Club's League status is to be ensured.
( However, there's an 'IF' as usual !..IF the two great earlier chances were put away then this would surely have given the boost the team so badly needed ! ).
In the meantime, whatever happens and is the season's outcome , our support as usual, is ensured !.
ON STANLEY !.. ON TO GREATER THINGS !.

Second sighting this season, same result. Started OK, simply dreadful once we went behind. Keeper completely exposed for first and third, first looked bad from 100 yards away, third was an absolute worldy finish - no stopping that!

Agree with you mostly Yonmon...not sure we started our best 11 yesterday...and we are more inconsistent than poor.....Even after 4 games it looks like Mr Doolan likes to rotate his squad....unless he's just looking at them for contracts next year....that would be my guess.

I think your guess may be right given that, of the 27 contracted players, only 2 (Baghuelou & Quirk) have deals into next season and the Prawn Sandwich billionaires are still refusing to agree the ‘share-out’ deal with the EFL.
Some summer pruning on the cards?

I’ve been prophesying a summer cull for a while now. No good having lots of players who don’t get on the pitch. Seems to be some younger home-grown talent which may be our immediate future

I doubt we can afford one!..............looking for the next Bishop and Charles.....or for those of an older vintage....the next Paul Mullin and Lutel James......
