Sums up the way the season is going.

Rain affected on Friday, the mad rush for cover from the open to elements WH stand at home, and then still getting wet in the Clayton, to the washout today.

Now Sutton an FGR are winning, glad we have enough points in the bag.

If Kevin Ellison had still been playing for the Shrimps he'd have had the game called off on Friday :D

Poor form to call the game off 90 minutes before KO. According to the Stags supporters on their message board the weather / pitch was exactly the same at 9am.
Having thought about it though, its not that many years back when our pitch was in a similar state, but, doesn't it look absolutely superb now.

Looking at Kippax’s photos, when we used to play footie on Highams we would have dreamed of being able to play on such a “waterlogged” pitch.
