Little surprised at Matt Lowe, we've just paid for two new hips for him - would've been good to see what he could do with 'em

There may seem to be some strange decisions but, we don't "know all the information" that John has.......what conversations he has had with the players, what players and positions he is aiming to recruit and fill by loans and following Andy Holts comments, what budget he is working to for next season.......the budget will have affected he new deals on offer......No doubt some players will still leave, depending on the interest shown in them by other clubs.....

Excellent news that Sean Whalley has signed a one year contract. Talking with him in Coley’s after the final match he sounded keen to stay! Let’s hope it spurs others to sign up too. Good on John and Ged for getting this done early!:theband:

The following players have had their contract extensions triggered:

Liam Coyle, Ben Woods, Tommy Leigh, Oliver Patrick, Dan Martin, Aaron Pickles, Lewis Trickett, and Josh Woods.

The following players have been offered new deals:

Toby Savin, Shaun Whalley, Joe Pritchard, Rosaire Longelo, Jack Nolan, Seamus Conneely, and Connor O'Brien.

If I could have kept one, it would have been Ros :)

Three out of the 7 offered new deals staying isn't bad Val......I would have liked Ros to stay, but as for the others.....they all either needed to go (Tommy)...were injury-prone (Joe)...or had an attitude problem (Jack).....only Ros is the real regret for me........ Really glad Shaun, Seamus and Connor signed.....although we may struggle to keep Connor in January if he starts the new season as well as he finished the last season......Seamus has a lot to offer although he won't be able to play 40 games next season....however, we do have good cover for his position.......
