The format of game has now been changed to one 90 minute game with kick off still at 2pm - guessing it's due to England playing at 5

Re: Saturdays friendly v Rovers
Lovely occasion today to show our gratitude to the long excellent service by Seamus Connelly. Zach Awe was very good and looks to be just what we need at the heart of the defence. The two new lads up front, Kelsey and Jimmy signed from Boston, did well considering that they have come into a team who last season played two divisions higher and against a team who played four divisions higher! They will benefit from the professional training and coaching that they will get here at the Stanley. They will get fitter and slicker and I think that they have the potential to do well and score some goals for us!:theband:

Enjoyable day @ Whambley yesterday and great response to Seamus’ service to the club over ten years (10 years!).
Thought Stanley put up a good show against a strong Rovers side in the first half, especially the back four. More difficult to judge much in the second half but pleased for Josh to get a goal. |

Adedoyin was one of nine released a fewcweeks ago.
Two contracted players I didn’t notice on Saturday included Rich-Baghuelou and Ben Woods. |

Thanks everyone, I just did not realise he was as 'thick set' as that, I thought he was more slender - like Leslie :)
