Lancaster City
Fielded a pretty much full strength squad. No triallists. Northern Premier League opposition. Be interested to hear Mr Doolan take the positives from that.

Re: Lancaster City
And our number 6 manages to get booked even in a friendly.

Re: Lancaster City
At the moment it feels like 22nd would be quite a result this season. Hope I'm wrong and we're much further up the table.

Re: Lancaster City

The fans are hoping that another bidder who sounds more credible wins the day but unfortunately the owner wants Sarbjot because he is offering more money ! |

Re: Lancaster City
This thread seems to have wandered from Lancaster City to being all about Morecambe FC - Again!
As someone who actually visited the Giant Axe (the only ground you can watch football & do some train spotting at the same time) I have to say I was pleasantly surprised - by LANCASTER CITY! The non-league boys were well drilled & played some excellent, skillful football. On balance, they were the better team & thoroughly deserved their victory. Like the Curates egg, Stanley were good in parts, without really creating many real chances. Any neutral would have assumed both teams were decent non-league outfits. Good luck to the Dolly Blues, we could do with another Lancashire team to play. Let's hope it happens in L2 & not in the Northern Premier  PS. Ditch the pink strip lads, it's just not football. |
