Interesting, Phil. We’ve been crying out for more “forward drive” from the midfield. Our captain has many attributes but not always those.
From what I’ve seen thus far I’m also not convinced Nelson Khumbeni offers anything that the likes of Coyle, B. Woods, Henderson, and Martin offer (and did so last season).
Having six loanees brings its own squad problems.

Btw, does anyone know what’s happened to Dan Martin?

I agree, Exile. All opinions of course, but I expected Woods to play more regularly than he has. Let's hope also that Liam's 60 mins of hard graft without a booking is a sign of good things to come.
