Another clean sheet, which is great :)

Also, just a yellow, which is another good thing :)

Not the best of games but a fair result, well done Stanley.

Stanley re-enacted the 125th anniversary of the Siege of Mafeking with their own defensive heroics against a strong, direct Walsall.
No wonder they’re top scorers - none of this cissy stuff playing out from the back, nearly every time it was a long ball from their keeper down the middle for Awe, Rawson, and Aljofree to do battle with a muscular and mobile forward line.
But, Stanley did it, and held on, with a few chances themselves in the mix, to earn a point.
Billy Crellin deserved his MotM but all the players in red gave their all until that 96th minute whistle.
Tickets this season should have come with a warning for those of a nervous disposition!

Super resilient defensive performance today and it felt like a victory at the end. Awe and Rawson did superbly against their big lads. Awe was up against Matt who is the same height as Awe but more muscular so he did really well to suppress the big lads physicality. Rawson was everywhere in defence clearing the ball out when needed. The wonderful late save by Crellin just gave him the edge on the other two for the MOTM award. Tyler Walton got better and better as the match wore on and the Walsall defence were struggling to contain him. The players and supporters were really pleased with the battling performance today! ON STANLEY ON.:theband::wave8::jimbo:

And for a change the yellow wasn't awarded to Liam Coyle
