Please define 'horrible'?
Was it that they committed fewer fouls than us - or that they scored 2 goals & left with 3 points?
Perhaps it's time Stanley stopped being so 'nice' to our opponents.

How i heavens name their player didn't get a red card for deliberately pushing Nelson over the hoardings in front of us i have no idea - add to that their tactics of throwing themselves to the ground at every opportunity & you have an idea of the kind of team they are, then again the weak ref let them get away with it - neither team played well but Bromley definitely didn't deserve the win

The answer is above :)

Worst performance from two teams this season. Terrible blustery wind but you’d have thought the number one instruction would be to keep the ball down.
Every goal kick was like watching Sunday league pub football with 20 outfield players gathered along the half way line all on one side of the pitch.
At times three quarters of the pitch was completely empty.
Not the first time I’ve seen Stanley suckered into playing the same type of game as hoof ball opponents. Whenever it happens they usually lose.
Unfortunately next few games are against teams also languishing at the foot of the table so Stanley need to rediscover their passing boots because they are second best at head tennis.
Dreadful match. Only consolation is I don’t have to watch Bromley again.

Re: vs Bromley

Well Bromley.
1. The swirling wind suited their style of kick and rush football. We failed miserably to adapt to the conditions, especially against the wind in the second half.
2. They get the ball forward quickly playing mostly counter-attacking football.
3. Out of possession they worked hard pressing us to stop us passing the ball forward.
4. We got sucked into playing like they do with the ball in the air and periods of "head-tennis", except they are a lot better at that style of play.
5. The few times we did try to play a passing game we did look threatening, but those passages of play were few and far between ( see above comments).
6. Their second goal, a free-kick into the box was caught by the gusty wind, bounced once making it difficult to see and blew into the net. A bit fortunate but given the conditions was always possible. I can only assume Crellin was unsighted in the crowded box. Even the Bromley lad who scored looked very surprised.

They did a job on us today as they have done recently to other teams (only lost 2 in their previous 9 games).

We move on. Let's hope when our injured return and the team doesn't pick itself, the competition for places improves performances.

I do not concur.
I do not much care if Bromley are a horrible football team. What worries me is that they are a very poor one, and Stanley hardly threatened to score against them. Chances of us getting a goal in the second half was virtually nil. And I doubt very much that the referee's performance had much to do with that.

Don't agree that the push was a red card offence, either.
Sorry, just my opinion.

Re: vs Bromley

It was ruined by the wind, and all 3 goals were from mistakes with two crosses ending up wind assisted goals.

Awe getting injured after teams announced and replaced with a makeshift centre back didn't help for the first goal conceded, and Stanley really struggled in the second half pumping up long balls which didn't go anywhere due to the wind, and persisted doing it.

After playing well in the 2-2 league games and throwing it away, the last 2 defeats with poor performances are worrying, and definitely looking down now 4 points above the bottom team.

It's all about opinions (otherwise there'd be little to debate after a game) but that push was absolutely deliberate, the initial collision may have been accidental but we could see the intent on their players face as he shoved Nelson again - disgusting!

Bromley played what might be summarised as PTSD football yesterday.
Push Tug Shove and Dive.
