After 21 games played, we have 19 points – 4 wins, 7 draws and 10 losses; take away the 4 wins for a moment, and in the other 17 games we have accumulated 7 points: we are overall on less than ap point a game: with a following wind and our results staying where they are or similar, we can look for something around 38-42 points overall, which – absent two sides worse that us over the season – will see us back in the Bananarama …….

Should we be worried? For sure …. Do we panic (Mr Mainwaring)? I’d say we do, because despite little flurries where we look half decent for a few moments, there are few signs of positivity and hope. Today we play Grimsby Town, who – may I remind you – thrashed us 5-2 just four weeks ago, with “one of our own” scoring the opener in the second minute …..

It’s very worrying …………… We now have 25 Cup Finals to get 31 points: we need to start today!
