What a Racket!

Just got back in after the match which overall I thoroughly enjoyed. The only downside both for myself and most of the supporters stood near me in the Clayton end was the volume of the pre kick off music being blasted out at full volume at such a level that any attempt at conversation was totally drowned out.

Fully agree with you! The volume needs to be cut by half. :stop:Trying to have a pet match conversation causes me to lose my voice! Anyone from the admin side of the club please take notice and reduce the volume. Just spoiling the match experience really!:bangh8:

Totally agree, I raised this ages ago with our (now) CEO at a “fans forum”. I think for one week it was turned down until 2:30, but after that it’s been at deafening levels since.
I have a lot of sympathy with the neighbours.
The point is that between 2:00pm and 2:40pm the few people on the Clayton End are of a mature complexion and have come early to have a matter to mates. This is impossible given the decibels and the robotic nature of most of the computer generated “music”.
No lessons seem to have been learnt on the noise issue at Stanley and the club seem unwilling to compromise their belief that Volume 11 must make for pre-match excitement.
