Yes that was my first thought too. We really need strikers. That said the comments show he's highly thought of but then that's been true of other less than successful signings in the recent past.

One of v few under-21s to get competitive first team game time at Burnley last season. Saw him play central DM at Southampton in the FA Cup and was impressed. Seems temperamentally calm and seeks to organise those around him. Keeps the passes simple and accurate. He has some physicality to him as well, although in all probability the main reason Burnley have loaned him to us is to see how he copes with Fourth Division ****housery.
