2025/26 PL Game 2 v Crewe (away)
Not, perhaps, the first away game you’d want, away to the League Leaders, who won their opener at the Ammies 3-1 last week, but we had a good mid-week win against Oldham and have a couple of Dingles to add to the squad
Crewe looked like they were going up last season, but managed to blow it. They’ve added four to their squad, one from Oxford City, one from Sligo, and two strikers - Josh March from Harrogate, and one Louis Mault from Dundee Utd …… Mault played four games for us in 2011, on loan from Stoke, but didn’t break any pots as I recall … he was, though, Scottish Premiership player of the month in Sept 2017, when on the books at Motherwell ….. 302 games, 97 goals, 33 years old We beat them 5-3 at home shortly after the 7-4 game v the Gills in 2009; overall, head to head seems to be W10;D3; L5 in our favour. Manager is Lee Bell, who played for Crewe (twice), Macc and Burton as a MF And your predictions are…….? :theband::theband::theband: |
