2025/26 Prediction League Game 6 v Shrewsbury Town (home)

Shrewsbury greasypoled last season, and are shaping up to repeat this season

They have Tito Nsiala, who once was ours, and Toby Savin, who, when the much vaunted James Trafford was on loan at the Wham, managed to keep him out of the side: Toby appears now to have lost his place to Man Utd loanee Elyh Harrison, having made two appearances in the Shrew’s goal with Elyh having made five. Their summer signings included Pompey’s LW Anthony Scully and MF Sam Clucas from Lincoln

Currently the Long Nosed Pointy Things are 23rd, with a record of P5 W0 D1 L4, two goals scored and 12 conceded (joint worst in League Two), and three games without a goal; not a great time to be a Shrewsbury Fan

Frankly, not getting trois points from this one would be like winning a raffle for two tickets on the Titanic ……… Entries please!

Not the greatest of games, but a point away from home is not to be sniffed at :)
