New Signings

Does anyone know who they might be? Apparently we're supposed to be signing two players - a conference player and a league player.
I heard there was a player having talks with us at the Tamworth game, anybody have any idea as to who these mystery players are?

there was some mention of a striker from Halifax who is out of contract att he end of the season, but he is staying there for now to see if something better comes along.

i heard the name dean howell mentioned on tuesday and he is out of contract
at the end of the season and some league 2 sided were after him but if they
dont sign him he will sign him he we sign back on for halifax

if it is dean howell it will be brilliant - i see robben/duff wing action with prendergast/howell! , what football dreams are made of!

i have just been talking to a halifax fan and he said:

"deano's not been on form recently but i can see hiim going elsewhere at the end of the season, even tho he is one of the fans favorites! i somehow doubt he would lower himself to go to accy tho, he has more chance of playing league football with us"

I was impressed with Dean Howell at the Shay at New Year. He could be quite an asset.

i know he was brilliant at that game - the only noticable halifax player on that day; i cant understand why halifax aren't renewing his contract though

There is talk on teletext page 395 tonight of Stanley talking to an out of favour midfielder from Kidderminster Harriers to take him on loan for the remainder of the season. Also on Teletext is confirmation that Burnley reserves will play remainder of their league fixtures at the I.E.S.
