Had women linespersons a couple of times but this will be first women ref for us As far as I know.. They where talking about her on confguide as she has already done at least one conference game.. opinin seems to be that she is OK

How is it allowed?

we are not allowed to field a lady in our team which is wrong, if they are good enough they should be able to play. But then the FA allow a lady to REF I think it,s half cocked (pardon the pun) lets have the girls everywhere

P.S if there are any girls who would like to play for the fans team you just have to come along to training on Thursday night 9-10 at the sportscentre (Hyndburn) and the team is picked on merit.

Can't see the problem with having a lady ref as long as she can do the job (& let's face it we've had plenty of refs who can't).
