Parable of Barnet
And so, it came to pass that JC and his chieftain jbell had mightily smote down the tribe of the Executors, but a new tribe began to rise in the South. This new tribe, named the Barnets, were led by a Fairman and had gathered many mercenaries to their camp with the lure of Gold, footballleague and Vodka. http://www.luxweb.co.uk/%7Eaccringt/...lies/smile.gif
The prophet JC read his news and warned the Barnets not to stray into the Northern regions of the country, but they heeded not his warnings. The Barnets first came upon the province of Here ford, where their defeat was of little importance. The Barnets carried on further North, until they reached the icy wastes where Stanley had his followers, the mad Ultras who were led by an aging warrior named Loweiy Verily, the wise words of JC came to pass, and Jehovah conjured up a mighty Maelstrom. Despite the Barnets use of the Coat of Two Color (gold/black), they were defeated and left the field of battle dragging their wounded behind them. <o =""></o> JC watched this from afar, drank deeply from his vast stock of wine and smiled. <o =""></o> Here endeth the second lesson. <o =""></o> |

Re: Parable of Barnet
Now is the Winter of our Discontent, Made glorious Summer by this Son of Yorke: And all the clouds that lowr'd upon our house In the deepe bosome of the Ocean buried. And they came forth from the Pennines, from the mighty house of Halifax to inflict upon the house of Stanley a mighty battle. They saw there chance as Stanley had only days before fought and won against all odds a battle so big that even the ale houses of Yorke had spoken with raptures about it. As they came off the snow covered caps of the hills they fought hard and were only minutes away from a victory that all knights, Lords and viceroys would hold up there tankards and verily speak of this time that they came to the mighty house of Lancaster and at last won, But no wait up came a man not large in statue not immense in the art of warfare but with a heart of oak and a red rose he smote down the white rose and sent them back to the dark side of the pennines. The name of Craney will forever be known in Halifax as a bloody draw.
My apologises to Willie Shakesphere. <o:p></o:p> |
