[QUOTE=Willie Miller]Sorry but Kipax is correct, first meeting of Ultras in Crown with 4 people present & no mention of OSC (Whatever that is:) ) Loweiy then asked to pop along to tell them what is going on!

I actually remember that before we did anything a member of the OSC Committee came on here & called us all fascists!!!!!!!

Only our displays, flags, scarves & our attendance at YOUR meetings have changed this misconception.

Well, Kipax, what I put out on this thread was, I thought, (and still think) very much in praise of the Ultras, but I'm afraid you've chosen to misinterpret my message .

Please re-read my post ; you will see that I did not say anything about a meeting with the newly-formed Ultras. You have completely reversed my true position , which was that I WANTED the Ultras to become a part of the Official Supporters' Club. I posted on the forum to that effect very strongly at the time , and I asked those Supporters' Club Members and Committee Members who knew the individual Ultras far better than I did to make sure that the Ultras were aware of our anxiety to keep them "in the fold".

Where you've got the opposite idea from I cannot even guess.

When we (the OSC) discussed the improving relationship with the Ultras at our last Meeting on Feb 14th, one of the leading members of both camps (and I won't mention his name unless he asks me to) acknowledged that we'd originally made strong representations , but he explained politely that the Ultras didn't want to be connected with the OSC ( i.e. they declined ) because , largely , we were too old !

I have re-read my post very carefully , and it is all correct as far as I can see - as well as being friendly towards our fellow-supporters.

I think that you might reconsider your own viewpoint, please.

Re: Question for the "Ultra's"

What I was trying to do, was respond to Wilie's post, IE, both the OSC & Ultras have something to contribute to the club... & hopefully, they will to continue to do so!

He posted his individual point of view , as I recall. Not that of the OSC . To suggest that we had this conception as a body or as a group of individuals is a cheap shot , especially when the Supporters' Club has always tried to build bridges . And this is your response when I'm trying to dish out some praise ?
