Re: Why Rory on the bench????

just a couple of things that annoyed me in yesterday's game:

(1) paul bladdy crichton - how many more howlers must he concede before coley starts danny alcock/JK??

(2) Paul Mullin - dont get me wrong - the guy's a legend, but he was so far off the pace today im sure he was still making his way back from carlisle! Come on Coley - the lad needs a rest.

apart from that all was fine and dandy :D

mullins never been the fastest player, in fast pace game he can just do what he normally does, he stood out yesterday as a one of the best players.

Crichton didnt have much to do, what he did do he buggered up.

Mullin was fantastic! One of his best performances in this campaign...

dont get me wrong - i know he's never been our fastest striker; but you must agree that Mully needs a rest; that doesn't look possible though now because of Evil's suspension over the next 3 games - we will be back to having just 2 strikers for a while and Craney in support - all because of Judas Kempson grr....

I think Coley must have had his reason and I don't think we should dout his desissions. We just gotta trust him.
I also agree with one of the post, that no player can become complacent which includes rory. They gotta fight for the right to play in every match and surely that can only be a good thing for getting the best out of the players.

Karen:)

Yes i agree. Coley probably just warning rory that no-one is bigger than the club even him..

Got to agree with (1).... Sorry if I disagree with the diehards who go away, but, can any of you tell me when he's had a good game at IES?? I, for one, have not seen it... I gather, from posts on here , that he played a 'blinder' at Exeter, backed up from what I saw on Conf TV.. He was superb... but why can he not convince us here???

Is he travelling too far to play 'at home'???

As for (2)... He can hold the ball superbly, with his back to goal.....but, to me, he doesn't seem to have anyone to lay off to... this smacks of incorrect tactics to me...where is his support?? He's never been the fastest, but, if you think about it, he was never employed as such!!
What he does, he does brilliantly, usually, with excellent results!!

Long may he continue..
I like to see commitment over skill, & he personifies this...
That's why I watch Conference rather than 'Premier League', in answer to to a previous post!!!!
