From previous posts, I hope that you know my thoughts on PM......
Sounds like he had a good one tonight.. keep it up , Paul, I like the guys who give 110%,
Commitment counts for me, that's why I watch here, & not pay Sky's unrealistic rates for 'Premiership' games.

his work rate was non stop for 90 minutes, even chasing balls that normaly would have gone out off play

Sounds like him.... He is typical of the kind of footballer I like to pay to watch....gives 110% commitment, skills may not be up to so-called 'Premier' standard, but, why pay £40 per month, when for 1/2 that, we can watch ASFC??

Re: Paul Mullin

Maybe Paul should be knocked more if he responds like tonight! lol
Trust him to come up with the goods when he is getting knocked. When you have played the games he has this season I think he is entitled to remind us he is only human for the odd game!!! Come on Paul two more opportunities to put your name on the map & overtake that Grazzie geezer who will be playing Conf footie again next season.

Stanleys last three goals where 3 crosses from Rory resulting in three goals from Mullin.

Re: Paul Mullin

Sounds like a reet good match, Just goes to show, if Evil is out how well Rory can play when he gets the ball. Time I think for a chat between Lee and Rory. Lee to fight for balls with PM up front and Rory to play on the wing which is his best position and frighten the opposition. Well done to the 60 or so Fans who went last night. I see Canvey fans are non-plussed re stewarding and team matters at the moment. How did the other new guys play? more comments please

yeah sounds like Mully had a really good game, That should show his critics. 110% commitement is the least given by mullin.

Re: Paul Mullin

Some body (with terrible timing) posted they'd had enough of Paul Mullin. Well, so have Morecambe and Canvey Island to mention two of late! Personally, I haven't had enough of him at all - or his goals; his 100% commitment often when left alone up front; his superb centre-forward skills; his unselfish play; his always being in the right place to score at the right time and his numerous other qualities. "Had enough of PM..?" You're havin' a larf, mate! The fact is if he had a yard + more pace he'd be playing CCC football now at least. Carry on the good work Paul. The overwhelming majority of Stanley fans are Paul Mullin fans too!

Re: Paul Mullin

To be fair. the poster made his comments before this sudden rush of goals and wasn't knocking Paul Mullin.. but questioning the tactics that where based around Paul. So a little unfair to reply as if they where made after the 3 goals.

A change has been forced with Evil out and we have gone back to the ever populor Rory getting the ball accross and Mullin scoring :)

Re: Paul Mullin

Why change a winning formula? When Rory gets the ball things happen;I think we will see more proof of this in the next couple of Evil -free matches[and no,I am not knocking him at all;just think things need sorting out]

Re: Paul Mullin

Paul Mullin has scored a lot of goals for Stanley this season prior to the last two games. I would have posted as I did if he hadn't scored against Morecambe or Canvey. If he never scores again this season (God help us) I'll stick by by comments. It's an interesting fact that whatever system we adopt to play Paul is always quite rightly in the team.
