Smith.. Future looks secure.. Coley likes him and cnsiders him to be the best for heading the ball. If we play a team that requires a lot of head the ball then smith is in otherwise out.

Procky got most improved player...

Evil and rory got special mention for being incconsistant.

yes i must agree that mainly all that the management said was justifiable and fair.............

everyone has there own opinion and so will do about what the management team said last night but in my opinion mainly it was fair.

Us as fans don't see and hear everything that goes on in the changing rooms and at training, but as we have done in the past we should put or trust in Coley, Jimmy and Cooky ( in that order as cooky sees it lol)

I think for those of us that couldn't go the question really is was there any controversial questions or was it all lovey dovey, as the message board the day before was don't be scared to ask difficult questions, was there any?

Nagh not really... the only surprises where the rory answers and cookie building bridges (BTW the only reason I pointed out cookey was cus Jimmy and Coley have done these before so we knew what they where like already)

Possibly how annoying new members are when they make wild assumptions that I only support Stanley because of one player .They need to go and have a quiet word with themselves.Anyone who knows me will tell you that it's the Team I support.

It was a valid question and your answer was infantile.If you have real issues with the player involved[no names!] let me know;I am sure he would be more than happy to discuss them with you on Saturday.If you have issues with the fact that I have a favourite player then you are just plain sad.You could simply not look at any thread with my name on it or you could go and have a nose at the Accyweb bit of the site where I post regularly on non football issues.

Ok;Gary Roberts.What a surprise.He does actually look ok from what we have seen of him so far. The other player who shall now be "anonymous"[ironic eh?] actually quite rates him.I personally don't think he is as good as the Real Thing.But everyone's entitled to an opinion and since you have obviously been studying my posts from the previous few weeks [at least] you probably have a good idea of mine!

Thing is Lindsay. Rory deserves to take his talent to the league. He's 26 and was mightily close to joining Bristol Rovers until an 11th hour u-turn. Great player and a heart of gold but his relationship with management team has been severed by his outbursts. He doesn't deserve it. I felt sorry for him the other night, I have been in a similar situation and it hurts.
He knows he will always have friends at Stanley regardless. It doesnt need you to back him up all the time.

She isn't 'backing him up', she is just giving her opinion which is what you do on a message board. If she wants to talk about how good a player she thinks he is then thats her right.

lindsay you stoped using rorys name, why, he is a star of non league football, its a shame whats happend, but we can only hope that our players and management are adults and can resolve the differences and get on with reaching the playoffs

Bet he was thrilled to get your birthday card.He has made no secret of his ambition to play league football;ask any player in the squad and you would get the same answer.He got an agent because of all the daft rumours flying around and he didn't know how to deal with it himself;no crime there.He is an honest lad working hard for the Club but his face doesn't fit and that is a great cause of concern not just for him but for fans too....he will go,that's virtually inevitable and all because of personality clashes.We will lose the BEST WINGER in the Conference because of petty differences and large egos.Time for some thinking outside the box I think Mr C.

When he is on his game which hasn't been regulary, also he can be the WORST WINGER in the league as JC said last night when he isn't on his game, which has happenend too many times this season.........

Unfortunately The Descision Re Rory Is Out Of Our Hands As Coley Made Clear. A Football Team Is Made Up Of Eleven Players & No Manager Worth His Money Will Ever Admit Having Favourites. With A Larger Squad Every Player Has To Earn His Right To A Shirt On The Day. As Fans We Only See 90 Minutes Worth, Not The Whole Weeks Efforts So We Have To Trust The Management Descisions-whether They Be Right Or Wrong On The Day-the Manager Is The Man Who Takes The Flak Or Praise At The End Of The Day. As Much As I Dearly Would Love To See Rory Remain A Stanley Player That Is His & The Managers Prerogative. Rorys Response At Staleybridge Shows He Knows The Fans Want Him, Just Hope He Doesn't Do A Lutel!

If you'd been publicly humiliated, then slagged off at the fans forum & in the local paper without a chance to defend yourself - would you want to stay? I hope things can be sorted but sadly, I seriously doubt it. At least the fans have shown him they want him here and I hope they do that again tomorrow.

But Coley says he touted himself to league clubs and got an agent to find a league club BEFORE the fans forum ... As he said that at the fans forum then you cant blame that for him wanting to leave.

remember kipax, there's A LOT of 'propaganda' in football these days put out by football managers at events such as the fans forum and in local papers to disguise what is really going on at the club, to make the fans see a particular angle of the club/individual

it seems mr coleman and co went into the forum completely on the defensive, knowing that they were in for some flack, and we all know the best form of defense is attack, hence his public attack on Rory, for example giving the bull**** comment with regards to the Celtic game; "The lads performance went up after Rory came off and the substitution in no way dented the team spirit"
(I haven't got the actual quote, its something along those lines)

The reason i dont remember the full quote, is because i couldnt attend the forum due to ill health; and i would have thought that you would have been intelligent enough not to fully believe everything people say, just because they are the manager/chairman of the football club you support, and the reason i doubt Coley's answers so much is because i want a club where all the players and staff get along, even though it will never probably happen, to produce the best results for the club.
Getting back to the original subject concerning Rory, do you not remember Coley forcing players such as Gary Williams out of the club (who was also a fans favourite) for 'behind the scenes' reasons

Coley had a good ten minutes talking about nothing but rory.. All the poeple complaing about it didn't even see it ..

Anyway I am not suggested I am right or that anyone should agree wiht me :)

I have pointed out that all I have to go on is newspapers, messageboard and straight from coleys mouth... Thats my choices....

If I speak to Rory then I may change my mind... but right now I havent had that pleasure.. you and Lyndsay have :)

One thing we do all agree on.. Rory is the best winger in the league and the club will be far worse off without him.. I dont think anyone can deny that..... But if we all agreed on everyhting then it would be a boring life eh mate :)

I know we missed the juicy bit but the child was at Brownies till 8pm[grrr].I got all that had been said prior to our arrival from Dany who helpfully translated her shorthand notes for me;so opinions of the night were formed on a full account and not just extracts.:)

I am not questioning his sincerity;just his professionalism.I don't think it's very professional to deal with team issues in either the Press or the open forum before the player involved has been made aware of any disciplinary action being taken against him;and I think these issues are best dealt with "in house" and not Jerry Springer style in front of audience.

I truly hope that's the case and all is resolved.Since arse has vanished I will tell the masses what I did wrong on Wednesday night......brace yerselfs........I rang Rory and told him what had been said about him! Oh my God;I will no doubt burn in hell for my sins! Sorry etc etc but I thought he had a right to know what was being said effectively behind his back and he asked me to keep him informed.Sorry guys;it's nothing more juicy than ringing a friend!
