WWW Player of the year TALK
 

It looks like theres going to be no official presentation evening this year. the only awards as far as I know will be the www player of the year and whatever the supporters club come up with.. usualy player of year and male/female fan of year...

there seems to be some confusion.. the club are under the impression the social evening currently planned by the supp club is the presentation night

is it?

It hasn't been planned as such , but I see no overwhelming reason why the presentation night shouldn't be incorporated into the April 30th social event. I'll ask Malcolm to put it on the agenda for tomorrow's (oops, I mean today's) Supporters' Club Meeting, and we'll see what Members think.

2004/2005 has been rather difficult because of the extraordinary demand which has been placed on the Sports Bar for various functions. The Supporters' Club (and, indeed, the Football Club) have been caught on the hop , somewhat , and we've already resolved to plan further ahead for the future.

You mentioned the "Supporter of the Year" - male and female - Kipax. There will be an important debate on this , according to the rough agenda for today's Meeting. I hope that as many Members as possible will attend and will contribute to these matters , which may prove to be far reaching.

big al .. thanks for the thought but as i am organising it then it would look silly me presenting it.. also as per the other two years.... i would HATE the task thanks...... so no votes for me but thought appreciated :)

i may have to bring forward the player of the year vote ending as that was set for 30th and now it might be the presentation night...

we shall see tonight..............big meeting hehehehe bring yer gloves :)

The voting end has now been brought forward to the 17th so ONLY 6 DAYS LEFT

This is because we will be presenting it on the 30th in the hastly arranged supporters club presentation night on the 30th

PS A vote for kipax is a wasted vote.. I cannot present it so please dont waste your time voting.. even though the thought is appreciated

No need for gloves , as it turned out . The central heating was on and the atmosphere was both warm and welcoming ;) . We were all very pleased to see you and Julie again, and I hope that you'll agree that everyone can learn a lot from meeting and debating.

Henry dear.. I have been to more supporters club meetings than you have mate... I don't think I need telling thanks.. Your perhaps confusing me with someone who doesn't go ? :)

Bazf - voting is open to all accyweb users..you dont have to go to matches to be a supporter or a fan... I was talking to someone tonight and I was saying.. thats exactly why kipax.com started... to try and capture the atmosphere and show people who couldnt get to away matches what it was like... then decided to do home matches for the same reason then the collection got so big people where using it as a sort of ground guide..... Anyways..it started for people like your good self...

To cut short my ramble.. you dont have to be there IMHO
