Thanks Adam - will tune in - I remember that game 3 years ago like it was only yesterday - a very windy but sunny Victoria Park and Hacker climbing to score with his head - we won it 1-0 - a great day and lots from Accy there...

Sorry for the delay in getting info posted. There will be a coach going to the game which will leave at 6pm from the crown on whalley rd and the cost is just £10. please either reply to this thread or you can contact me on 07843 057507.

Just beeen on the phone and it is £8.00 for adults £4.00 for kids then a voice said "Cheaper than Accy ehh", NO....... i replied kids are £3.00.. ;)

I am definitely going, but as I live in Wigan it is but a short car drive for me. Hopefully bringing my daughter with me. Seems she can't stand Rugby for ladies (league) and doesn't fancy Wigan Athletic (good on 'er) so she wants to support the mighty reds. One out of three aint a bad return, I am working on t'others as I type.

You didn't miss much Jimbo,
When Jonathon Smith went down injured Radio Lancashire at first thought it was Gary Roberts then Paul Haworth before realising it was Smithy. They even said it was inconsiderate of players going down not to show the number on their shirt towards the press box.

That bit may have been Adam. but surely without seeing the number on the shirt you should be able to tell players apart (if you are as professional has you make out to be) especially when Roberts & Haworth both have dark hair and Smithy is blonde!!!

Good grief Adam;is there really nothing better to occupy your time? Might I suggest the Observer's Guide to Accrington Stanley;a full colour pocket size guide to help you identify the players. Includes helpful tips like "blonde", "6 foot", "left winger","bald" etc etc."
