Re: What is it?

Or to put it another way it could be that it's an erasable/programmable ROM as seen through the erasing window.

Either your looking at the picture I put on and not what K.S.H. put on, or you didn't look at the post I put on, which is it?:D

Re: What is it?

If I could understand that Less I'd answer it! :D Oh hang on yes, gotcha, lol that was actually a response to your post as opposed to my first post which was a response to K.S.H.'s post.

It could be a close up of a woolly jumper! (That's a response to K.S.H's post but given that he said you were close then I doubt it.)

Well now it looks more like what accyjay said, the first is a close up of the phospherescent dots of a modern Colour Television tube, (little oblongs) and the second of the phospherescent dots of a year very old fashioned colour television tube which actually gave a very poor colour reproduction anywhere except in the middle 6 or so inches of the screen.:o

Go on then, i'll give you both, wanted PC monitor but I suppose its near enough, reason the 1st is slightly different is
1. It was hand-held, others were done on a tripod
2. It was a off-white screen, 2nd was white, 3rd yellow, 4th green
PS 1st was the Google home page, see you were very close Less :D
