No zoom, its a fixed 105mm macro lens, actually had to reduce the image to 500pix to display on here :D

I don’t know what you mean by a 105mm macro lens but it must be lens you stick on the camera.
It’s a good job then that it wasn’t a close up or had been magnified otherwise it would have been massive

Macro basically means when you take a photo of something, it will be at least 1:1 ie the same size without any enlarging, so if I printed the image in the last comp straight out of the camera (without any resizing) the printed image would be life size.
You will notice that some of these are more than 1:1
