I thought East Lancashire looked great, the lads live near The Crown at Greave, Bacup, the first house was Turn Village and the second Sunnybank, Helmshore
They have a web site

I presume it was the corner of Heys Lane and Fielding Lane?
Looked like a converted shop to me

I've just watched the 'Home' part.
Part of Union Rd was featured, and Martins Bakery got a prominent full view shot.

Yes, that house at the bottom of Fielding Lane was a grocery store. I remember it as being a bit like Arkwrights in Open All Hours - it had everything.

Didn't there used to be a cake shop at the bottom of Fielding Lane. I'd say in the lale 50's or early 60's. I seem to remember a girl called Teresa Hart working there, anyone else remember?

Teresa used to live on Catlow Hall Street near the Continental Bakery, can't remember any sort of cake shop though Sam, there was a butchers and an hardware shop. I was in the same class as Teresa at St Mary's

There was veg and fish shop too, next to the phone box.
There was a clogger in a wood hut next to the hardware shop(now the chippy).
I don't remember any cake shop either.

I've just remembered!! Perhaps the cake shop was just temporary. Teresa used to work in a cake shop near Emeric Eccles Chemist and for some reason she was transferred to the bottom of Fielding Lane, as I said perhaps just for a short time.
