i remember cable cars from quarry to redack brick works in huncoat and there is a tunnell under burnley rd roughly accrington side of hillock vale and i have been through it wen i was a lad. in 1957.

i also lived in peter st accrington in 1963. then we moved up bellfield rd after 15yrs i with my 3 boys moved on nuttall st. then met my hubby moved up huncoat for 10yrs now we are in lowton...

huncoat is nice i lived there for 10yrs my husband lived there all his life his mother is still there we lived on townley ave if you go to the village you will be fine. we only moved for davids job...
