Thorneyholme Rd, Queens Road, Whalley Road, Abbey Street, Plantation street... 'stuff' going on at the start on Thorneyholme and at the end at the college I think.

There was also a hairdressers in that area on that side (where I got my first salon grade hairdryer...

I left senior school in 88 - I remember The Tufty Club. I had a big white annual of it which also showed dangers around the house - loose wires and pan handles over the edge of cookers. Not sure how...

Currys and Dixons were both in the Arndale at the same time. Not sure which way round, but one was where New Look is and one was where Bodycare is (I think).
