I can remember the dinner lady Mrs. Demain she lived on n 'augusta St, she was very strict.
I also remember Mrs Waterhouse in the infants class.

Yes George was his brother, he was a solicitor on Cannon St, Robt.Kidd Whittaker & Pratt. I used to work for him when I first left school.

Kevin does live in Sabden I can verify that only spoke to him on Wednesday night at a gig he was doing with Herman's Hermitts. They were brilliant

I know Kevin Lingard, in fact how bizzare is this, I saw him in Clitheroe two wks ago and he said he was doing a gig at the Grand in Clitheroe, he his now with the Herman's Hermitts its not a tribute...

Accrington is not all bad, we have a great Art Gallery, which brings in lots of visitors from other towns, we have the Globe Centre and Traders Brasserie which serves great food made by the Students...
