The Machpela Graveyard was on Hyndburn Rd, or as it was known when the Baptist Chapel was there as Allom Lane. That site was known to those who worshiped there as "Gods Little Acre". They originally...

the Church and graveyard were the Union St Wesleyan Chapel.

And the blacksmiths was Fitzpatricks at ther bottom of Crawshaw St, next door but one to my Aunt Maud's
